Raw Kvarner scampi
Škripavac cheese & fig ice cream · scampi emulsion · peas · pomegranate

Crikvenica · Kvarner · 45°N
A contemporary Mediterranean table shaped by daily catch, local produce, fire, olive oil and the quiet rhythm of the Adriatic.
01 · The Story
Dida is a place where the Kvarner coast becomes a dining language.
Seasonal ingredients, fish from the daily catch and fresh homemade pasta are treated with precision rather than excess. The result is food that feels rooted in the region, yet unmistakably contemporary.
Every course is designed as part of a wider experience — texture, temperature, wine and carefully matched olive oil working together at the table.

02 · The Kitchen

After developing his experience in prestigious European restaurants, particularly in Austria, Damnjan Draganić returned to Dida with a clear focus: local seasonality, daily catch, fresh pasta and technically precise cooking.
His cooking is most expressive when the ingredients are most local: Kvarner scampi, Adriatic fish, Istrian truffle, Drniš prosciutto, herbs and olive oils.

04 · The Place
Set directly on the coast, Dida opens toward the island of Krk. The interior balances modern and rustic elements around an open kitchen and large fireplace, while a panoramic glass wall leads out to the terrace.

Alongside wine, selected olive oils are matched to courses to sharpen aroma, texture and balance. It is a small detail that says a great deal about the table.
